I have added a battery maintainer easily to both my diesel trucks, and when they have to be outside in the winter, I have no problem starting them. Yes! With both block heater and maintainer cold starts are a thing of the past. Maintainers can also be a benefit with out block heaters. A strong battery is always good for cold starts.
