When it comes to home improvement projects, most people envision a new coat of paint. However, when you want to replace the staircase, put up a new patio and combine three rooms into one, home improvement financing seems all but unavoidable.
Mortgages and equities are part of house improvement financing. These are known as secured loans, for which collateral, usually in the form of your property, is required. Keeping up regular repayment is important, and the home owner who neglects these risks losing his home. There are also unsecured loans. The amount for unsecured loans is lower than that for secured loans, but the interest rate charged is often much higher.
It is possible to renew your home without resorting to a bank loan by carrying out the house improvement in stages. Complete each stage of the project in the order of its importance. Spending only what you can afford allows you to pace your home development to what suits you best. It may take longer, but at least you do not have to service a bank loan.
Last, but not least, you can always carry out your projects on your own. It's impossible to avoid hiring people entirely but you will not need home improvement financing to pay the electrician. Attending workshops and asking questions at stores is a good way to learn as you go. As with carrying out the renovation in stages, home projects carried out this way will take more time, but you will end up saving a lot more on the expenses incurred.
You should always keep in mind that any home improvement activity you carry out has one main objective – to improve the quality of life of everyone who lives under that roof. Never get talked into anything more extravagant than what you planned; learn to trust your gut.

The Nitecore i8 is a huge charger that can charge 8 batteries and two mods (via USB) at the same time. The Nitecore SC4 is great for those who really want to monitor battery health, but doesn’t accept 2X700 batteries.
The Nitecore Q2 is designed specially for vapers. It is simpler but does take all 2X700 batteries.

Sometimes there has never been such disdain for a president of the US as there has been for President Trump. While the majority of the US population voted for his opponent, Hilary Clinton, the electorate votes made Trump the winner. Therefore, more than half of the US citizens opposed President Trump from the beginning. Yet, in their desire to invalidate him, they will ensure he is re-elected.
President Trump is a businessman. While many will excuse whether or not he is successful, it is fair to say he makes a living conducting various types of business deals. When you combine that with his attitude towards deregulation and tax cuts, the business community, including Wall Street, is quite enthusiastic about him being in the White House. As a result, in less than one year, $ 5 trillion has been added to the US economy. And the stock market has performed better during its presidency than it has ever in the stock market's 200-year history.
In addition, they are predicting the economy will have strong growth over the coming four years. With that said, it would seem people would favor a president who is good for the economy.
Well, some people are enraged by comments President Trump makes in the media, including Twitter. And women, immigrants and some minorities say they feel alienated by him. Those enraged people seem to have made it their mission to find a reason to impeach President Trump. To do that, they have to stay abreast of every move he makes.
That means people are reading every tweet he makes. They read every article in favor or against him. And they are watching everything the television has to say about him. For the media, that means more people reading the paper and watching TV. There is also an increase in on-line traffic to stay on top of the latest incident that could lead to possible impeachment of President Trump.
As you can imagine, the President has become a godsend for sinking ratings on network television. As president, he has most likely outperformed his high ratings from his show The Apprentice. What does that do for the media?
I will assume there are more people buying and subscribing to newspapers since President Trump was nominated to the Republican Party than in the past several years. I assert there are people who, in the past, did not care much for politics who are now buying papers and magazines that ignored before the 2016 election. With more newspapers sold, the papers can make the case for why companies should advertise in their publication. That also makes it possible for them to charge more to advertise.
That kind of stimulus will require print media to buy more paper. Furthermore, print and television will be motivated to hire more sales people. That means since President Trump took office, more jobs were created. As advertising increases on-line, TV and print, more people are hired to create the ads. With increased ad pricing, there is more disposable income from price increases and additional jobs. Those people will buy clothes, cars, houses, washers and dryers, carpet, vacations, etc. All that activity stimulates the economy and more job creation – the multiplier effect.
However, this all occurs from the people who claim to disqualify the elected President of the United States, Donald Trump. That hatred has sparked so much activity that it actually has stimulated the economy. At the end of four years, President Donald Trump will have a fantastic story of terrible proportions. He will be able to say he has stimulated the economy better than any president in the history of the US. And it will be all because of you.

Can YOU help me spread the word about how awesome electric cars are? Click 👉 https://EVNe.ws/patreon
Read today’s show notes on https://www.evnewsdaily.com
Well good morning, good afternoon and good evening, wherever you are in the world, hello and welcome to the Thursday 23rd August edition of EV News Daily. It’s Martyn Lee here with the news you need to know about electric cars and the move towards sustainable transport.
Thank you to MYEV.com for helping make this show, they’ve built the first marketplace specifically for Electric Vehicles. It’s a totally free marketplace that simplifies the buying and selling process, and help you learn about EVs along the way too.
NEWS IN BRIEF!
Kicking off with some news in brief, and some quick bite-size headlines: The government of India is planning to subsidize EV charging infrastructure to speed up the EV revolution there, describing the situation with the well-worn chicken and egg metaphor, what comes first, the cars or the chargers. OPEL/Vauxhall has followed up their teaser with images of the GT X Experimental Concept – a compact SUV concept with coupe appeal, EV powertrain, with inductive charging and a 50kWh battery. Except it doesn’t because they haven’t even built a concept, it’s a picture. So they can give it whatever specs they want. And the average Sale Price Of Tesla Model 3 Now At $59,000, although that’s not an official line from Tesla, it crowdsources 4,600 Model 3 owners and what they paid, with that price going up due to AWD and Performance options more recently available.
TESLA MODEL 3 DEBUTS IN AUSTRALIA BUT NOT ON SALE UNTIL LATE 2019
Tesla has flown in 3 production versions of the Model 3 to let Australian fans have a look around. And boy did they ever! Some people queued for hours to get just a few minutes with the car at showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Australian customers, like all those who paid their deposit over two years ago still have a year to wait before driving their cars. The best guesstimate for local deliveries is production starting in the next 12 months with deliveries to commence in the next 12 to 18 months. Here in the UK we don’t expect RHD model to appear before July 2019. I gather the model on display is the cheapest, long range RWD model, which is $66,610 in local currency before taxes and import duties are applied. Add those and you’re looking at $80,000 drive-away Aussie dollars The queues don’t surprise me because there’s a pent up demand to see it in the flesh. When I went to the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year it’s such aa different experience to studying photos.
HYUNDAI KONA EV HAS THE LONGEST EPA RANGE OF ANY NON-TESLA EV
Recently on the show you and I went through the newly official EPA rating of the Hyundai KONA EV, or at least the long range 64kWh battery version, which is the only one being sold in North America. And I even mentioned it was more than the Chevrolet Bolt but I didn’t connect enough dots to make this statement. The KONA EV is the longest range of any electric vehicle currently on sale that isn’t built by Tesla. So the KONA pack stores 4kWH more energy than the Bolt, and as we’ve seen with the IONIQ Hyundai are getting a reputation for building efficient EVs. In terms of charging the KONA i want to say again, Hyundai have this really confusing way of describing it online and on press releases, they give the charge time of 54minutes when connected to a 100kW charger. However please remember, with the current of 200amps on the battery pack, and even 200amps being the max current on the current CCS plug, the theoretical max charge speed is ~72kW. I’ve been guilty in the past of saying it’s capable of 100kW charging but that’s an urban myth for some reason. That’s still a great speed by the way, 54mins to 80% at that speed, 75 mins on a 50kW charger and 9.5hours on the 7.2kW onboard.
HYUNDAI IONIQ EV N PERFORMANCE COULD BE COMING
“Hyundai are planning to deliver electric N Performance models after the current crop of N cars, with the Hyundai Ioniq EV N looking to be in the frame.” says carsuk.net: “Hyundai’s N boss Albert Biermann, speaking to Automotive News, says the N Brand won’t be able to avoid electrification past 2021, and he seems to have a clear idea of what could be done. He said: “As an example, we have an Ioniq EV. Were we to find a nice battery, a bigger motor and inverter, we could make an Ioniq EV N with a nice chassis and more power. Something like that is not fully crazy.”
