Troubleshoot and repair a PowerWise Battery Charger for Golf Cart – Replacing Charger Board. Damaged Relay. Replace electronic board. Repairing your charger will save you from having to buy a new charger.
Replaces both the control and power input boards.
You may need to replace your 50 amp fuse as well as the diodes in your charger. These typically go bad when you have a faulty control board.
Fits the Following Cart(s): 1994-Up EZGO Powerwise chargers.
Products are sold by “The King” They seem to have the lowest prices and I never had an issue with them. They have everything you need. Hope this helps.
Installation of Smart Battery Isolator (voltage relay) to charge 12v batteries in camper vans. Great alternative or backup for charging batteries, video demonstrates the simple installation connecting auxiliary house batteries to the van’s charging system.
Circuit with a Schmitt trigger where a relay switches off on a too high voltage on the power rail. Switching without any doubt or strange “typical switch effects”.
Developed for 12 V or 24 V lead acid battery chargers. Set the “drop off” voltage with P1 (the 10 K potentiometer, critical aligning). Integrated in my solar panel charge circuit that charges a 24 V – 75 AH battery out of a 45 Volt max 5 Amp solar panel.
Earlier published, but with a flaw (I forgot the 220 K resistor….), so the earlier publication on YT was deleted. Thanks to YT user “mark sk”.

All my books about electronics are available via the website from “Lulu”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.

Regarding all my video’s: I constantly keep them actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. That is the source, and search there. When my video’s are reproduced or re-edited on other websites/channels you can not (!) be sure about the original content (=really working electronics) and important adaptations to the circuits.
Be aware of that, I saw on the internet many of my circuits reproduced in a poor or even not proper way. I can not help that, sorry. Upload 24 september 2018.
In this video we look at the wiring setup of the battery to battery charger from Sterling Products. I show you how to wire the unit to both batteries, and where to install the wires for the temp sensor for the battery and where to install the ignition wire.
I go through the 3 modes thats on offer from this product and how to select the correct battery setting.

this is a heavy duty battery charger i got off ebay made in 1918. i believe it is 6 amps. it took me a while to figure out how to run it. blew the circuit breakers in my house a few times too. but the charger didnt give a shit about if i shorted it or not so its earned my respect.
